ZipNut Technology, LLC, has adapted its Double ZipNut® designs to instant on
and off fasteners that are used in radioactive (ALARA) areas to speed
attachment and removal of threaded items. The tools can be designed with a
hex for torquing or with a comfortable handle and sleeve for hand tightening
with a gloved hand.
- The split thread design can be adapted to almost any outer body
configuration and made in almost any size and made out of almost any
material. - Many existing hand tightening fixture uses have been adapted to a
ZipNut® application saving time, worker fatigue and affording ease of
operation. - Working environments extend from outer space to sub sea depths.
